Bardstown Bourbon Company’s Discovery Series #9 is a blended whiskey that combines traditional and modern elements, including rare craft bourbon from Georgia, classic bourbon from Kentucky, 17-year-old whiskey from Tennessee, and a touch of sweetness from Canada. The blend also includes an 8-year-old four grain bourbon from Georgia, a 12-year-old Kentucky bourbon, and a 12-year-old Canadian corn whiskey. The blend is bottled at 112.5 proof.
The blend is made up of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley, with 19% of the blend being 17-year-old Tennessee distillate, and the remaining 15% being 100% corn whiskey from Ontario. The whiskey has a unique, elegant flavor, and the elements blend together to create a vibrant pour.
