History

Double Eagle Very Rare 2020 Bourbon is a gorgeous collector’s item featuring “two beautifully sculptured crystal glass eagles, one inside the bottle, and one serving as the stopper. It is matured for twenty years, twice as long as the standard for Eagle Rare Bourbon. Only 199 bottles were produced and each bottle includes a numbered letter of authenticity. It was first crafted at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfurt, Kentucky. During this time whisky sales were at an all-time low so Master distiller Charles Beam took the opportunity to put out more aged and pricier products. In 1989 The Sazerac Company purchased several brands including Eagle Rare and in 1992 they acquired Buffalo Trace Distillery. Eagle Rare whiskey is carefully aged for no less than ten years making it a smooth and tasty whiskey. Eagle rare has been a proud recipient of so many awards throughout the years, that they are proud to present The Eagle Rare life program which was started in 2011, the program has been successful for over Ten years. It consists of a program where community members are nominated every year with touching stories of their work in the community. After the winner is chosen they are proudly recognized and receive the coveted Reach higher Eagle Rare Life Award and the charity of their choice receives a $50,000 donation.
